Background: The CFLP Equipment Committee is subordinate to the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing (CFLP), which is the first logistics and purchasing industry association in China. It has more than 700 members, including large domestic enterprises such as Haier, Baosteel, COSCO and Sinotrans, as well as joint ventures and wholly foreign-owned enterprises such as Shanghai Volkswagen, Sumitomo and Daejeon.

From June 25 to July 2, 2023, the equipment committee of CFLP organized domestic logistics equipment-related enterprises and research institutions to visit Sweden, Germany and other countries. Led by Zuo Xinyu, the Secretary-General of the Equipment Committee of CFLP, the purpose of the visit was to gain a comprehensive understanding of the development and implementation of European commercial vehicle standards, as well as those related to pallets, packaging, and other logistics equipment.

In the afternoon of June 28th, the delegation came to the office of German Changjiu logistics GmbH in Hamburg. Minister Tao Jarvis from the German Changjiu has presented the delegation with the latest updates on the global Changjiu logistics system. He also discussed the progress in business expansion, the operation of China Railway Express(CR Express), and the customer service network.

Changjiu Logistics GmbH (Germany,Hamburg) was founded in 2014. The demand for international finished vehicle transportation has grown rapidly in recent years, while the challenges of the external environment have become increasingly evident, placing higher demands on the company’s business operation capability, timeliness of feedback to the market and Supply chain resilience. Changjiu Logistics Group will also continue to maintain in-depth cooperation with the CFLP and collaborate with the association’s resources to continuously explore innovative solutions for cross-border logistics and achieve digital, sustainable and standardized transformation and upgrading.

Changjiu Logistics strengthens relations with Port of Antwerp-Bruges

 

On 27 June, Mr. Luc Arnouts, Vice President of Port of Antwerp-Bruges, and his team visited Changjiu Logistics for a cooperative exchange. Vice President of Changjiu Logistics Mr. Meng Qingwen and the international business team were welcomed.

 

The Port of Antwerp-Bruges, an important import and export hub in Europe, was formally merged by the two major ports, Port of Antwerp and Port of Zeebrugge, on 28 April 2022 to become the largest export port of Europe, the largest automotive port and the largest integrated chemical cluster.The two sides exchanged on the current and future trends in the development of the Chinese and European automotive industry, and in particular on China’s exports to Europe.

Luc Arnouts, vice president of Port of Antwerp-Bruges, emphasized that China’s automobile exports are growing rapidly and the European market has become a strategic hub for Chinese automobile companies.The European region, represented by Belgium and the United Kingdom, is becoming the main growth market for China’s new energy vehicle exports, which poses a higher demand for the operational capacity and efficiency of European ports. Port of Antwerp-Bruges is actively seeking for experienced automotive logistics partners to jointly respond to and serve the demand of Chinese brands offshore, requiring automotives logistics companies with extensive experience in international automobile logistics, warehousing and local road distribution in Europe.

Meng Qingwen, vice president of Changjiu logistics international department, indicated that according to industry and professional data predictions, China’s automobiles will continue to maintain a high growth momentum.Under the guidance of the “One Belt and One Road” initiative, the countries and regions along the line have become the key target areas of China’s automotive enterprises’ exports, overseas construction plants and oversea warehousing layout, how to integrate market demand, integrate warehouse functions, improve operational efficiency, while playing the third-party logistics enterprises rich international logistics experience, develop and expand the already existing oversea hub capabilities, to provide customers with overall packaging services is the direction of  Changjiu logistics efforts and positive practice.

Changjiu’s first “Dalian to Belyi Rast” export train for Geely finished vehicle successfully departed

On April 8th morning, a train full of 150 Geely commercial vehicles departed from Dalian to Belyi Rast, Moscow. This is the first train for Changjiu International Business from Dalian to Belyi Rast terminal in Moscow, which is also an important milestone for international business optimization in developing new overseas terminals.
