On 6th July, the “2023 Automotive Logistics Global Conference” was held in Yantai, hosted by China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing(CFLP), Yantai Municipal People’s Government and Shandong Port Group, and undertaken by the Automotive Logistics Sub-committee of CFLP and Shandong Port Yantai Port Group.
The Global Automotive Logistics Conference is one of the most influential international conferences in China’s automotive logistics industry, and also a professional platform for communication and exchange between China and the global automotive supply chain. With the theme of “Chain to the Whole World, Anchor to the Future”, the conference was attended by more than 400 representatives from more than 200 enterprises, including famous multinational automobile groups, excellent domestic auto brands, parts suppliers and auto logistics companies. Li Yanchun, shareholder representative of Changjiu Group, Meng Qingwen, vice president of Changjiu Logistics, and Zheng Junpeng, assistant vice president of international business, were invited to attend the conference, and took part in the interactive session of “Opportunities and Challenges of China’s Automotive International Logistics”, the keynote speech of the conference, the seminar of the drafting team of the group standard for the Requirements for Container Loading and Unloading of Passenger Cars and the exchange session for the docking of automotive international business. Mr Meng Qingwen, Vice President of Changjiu Logistics, introduced in the interactive session of “Opportunities and Challenges of China’s Automotive International Logistics” how third-party logistics enterprises can actively improve and extend their services at both ends of the spectrum and meet customers’ local needs overseas on the basis of supporting the core needs of automotive brands in international transport. In addition, he also introduced the characteristics of international transport in different countries and regions, Changjiu Logistics’ expertise and customised services as well as its future expansion in the areas of regional expansion, product incubation, and vision for cooperation, and so on.
During the keynote speech, Mr Zheng Junpeng, Assistant Vice President of Changjiu Logistics’ international business, introduced and analysed the recent situation of China’s automobile import and export, especially the situation of independent brands going to the sea and their overseas layout, and gave a detailed introduction of Changjiu Logistics’ international business’ latest solutions and planning reflections on the key business sectors of international railway, sea transport, air transport and road transport.
In addition, during the group standard drafting group discussion on “Requirements for Packing and Unpacking of Passenger Vehicle Containers” and the automotive international business docking exchange meeting, representatives of Changjiu Logistics conducted more detailed and in-depth exchanges with other participants on related topics. During the meeting, LCL’s international business team actively engaged in extensive and in-depth communication and exchanges with embassies, investment and trade departments, automotive enterprises and counterparts from the perspectives of international development planning, technological solutions, and lean operation, which achieved good results and established a good foundation for deepening cooperation in the future.
